Rob Peeling of Britest Limited describing the assessment methodology they used for the Levwave Project
Drochaid Research Services worked on the Levwave project in collaboration with, Croda Europe Limited, Manchester Metropolitan University and Saica Paper UK ltd.
Dr David Smith added “What we are doing is making use of a waste stream by extracting useful chemicals from paper sludge”.
The above project enables further use of the waste stream left over after recycling has taken place. This process further enhances the amount of material extracted instead of just disposing.
An excellent case study from Rob Peeling of Britest Limited describing the assessment methodology they used for the Levwave project. David Smith and Juan María González Carballo of Drochaid Research Services carried out an experimental programme that is described in the paper.
