Dr David Brown and Dr Hendrik van Rensburg are to attend Prepa13 and EuropaCat 2023.
Dr David Brown said:
“We are looking forward to returning to attending conferences this summer with the added pleasure of being able to sponsor two prestigious events. It will be good to catch up with everyone in person”
If you would like to arrange a meeting with Dr David Brown or Dr Hendrik van Rensburg at either of these events please email firstname.lastname@example.org
Dr David Brown is attending the Prepa 13 conference.
Drochaid Research are Silver Sponsors at Prepa 13
It is a tradition that every four years, the Université catholique de Louvain and the KU Leuven jointly organise a symposium devoted to the scientific bases for the preparation of heterogeneous catalysts. This meeting brings together researchers from academia and industry and offers a forum for discussions on the chemistry involved in the preparation of industrial heterogeneous catalysts.
We cordially invite all scientists active in the field to participate in the 13th International Symposium on Scientific Bases for the Preparation of Heterogeneous Catalysts.
The scientific programme will consist of oral communications and poster presentations.
Contributions focusing on all aspects of catalyst preparation are solicited. Reports on physico-chemical characteristics of catalysts and catalytic performances should be limited to correlations with the preparation parameters.
Papers will be selected by a scientific committee consisting of representatives from catalysis industry (manufacturers and users), based on the scientific value of the abstract, the novelty and the compliance of the subject to the symposium topics.
EuropaCat will be conferences will be focusing on areas such as listed below:
CATALYSIS TO TACKLE INDUSTRIAL CHALLENGES
Biomass to chemicals and fuels
Refining and petrochemistry
Bulk chemicals and polymers
Gas to liquids conversion
Electrocatalysis, including fuel cells
CATALYSIS TO IMPROVE THE ENVIRONMENT AND QUALITY OF LIFE
Treatment of flue / exhaust gases from energy stationary and mobile sources
Treatment of off-gases from non-energy technologies and devices
Catalytic technologies for liquid or solid waste reduction or purification
The invite letter below gives a comprehensive explanation of Europacat2023
Welcome to Congress EuropaCat, Prague, August 27 – September 1, 2023!
It is our great honor to invite you to the already 15th edition of the biannual congress of the European Federation of Catalysis Societies (EFCATS), EuropaCat, that will be held in August 2023 in the Prague Congress Centre, Prague, Czech Republic. The conference will be, for the first time, jointly organized by the catalysis societies of the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia.
Over the years, EuropaCat has become a traditional meeting place for scientists and researchers from academia and industry all over Europe. Consequently, it has developed into a forum to discuss important challenges in the field of catalysis and the related industrial areas and beyond. As we live at a time of rapid changes, the growing population, its changing needs and the ever-increasingly limited availability of resources to satisfy the societal needs dictate rapid advancement in finding and sustainably using our resources. To deal with these challenges, we need courageous and innovative ideas providing the prodigious spark to ignite the development, which only the industry can convert into real solutions helping the mankind.
We expect that the conference will attract over 1 500 participants from diverse fields of catalysis having academic as well as industrial background. We strongly encourage the participation of students, i.e. the future generation of scientists and researchers.
We would be excited if you join us in Prague at EuropaCat 2023 so that we can together innovate the production of energy carriers, chemicals and materials, while at the same time enhancing the quality of life on the Earth.
