National Apprenticeship Week

I am Jonathan McLeish I  am an apprentice Laboratory Technician here at Drochaid Research Services. I have been in this position for 6 months and I am currently working toward my SVQ level 2 and 3.  I am gaining practical laboratory skills whilst working with gasses and on our fixed bed reactors.  I am also gaining knowledge and understanding of why we do things and how the processes affect later results and experiments.  I am aiming to gain an HND in life sciences while  carrying out my apprenticeship which would then give me the opportunity to progress on to further education.
